CJ advised to complain against an HC justice

Senior lawyers, including attorney general, advised the chief justice to complain to the president against High Court Justice Salma Masud Chowdhury, on allegation of changing verdict.  

The senior lawyers made the open court advice while a appeal hearing of an appellate division bench led by chief justice Syed Mahmud Hossain on Thursday.

Attorney General Mahbubey Alam brought accusation against justice Salma Masud that she changed verdict in a writ case regarding the loan of National Bank, by issuing decree illegally.

After the hearing, the appellate division expressed concern that "In exchange of how much money, has the verdict been handed down? The High Court cannot deliver such verdict. This is unprecedented."

End result, the apex court declared annulment the all verdicts of the High Court and trial court delivered in the case.
