Prof Shahinul made BSMMU Pro-VC

Professor Dr Md Shahinul Alam has been appointed as the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), said a press release from the ministry of health and family welfare on Tuesday.

President Mohammad Shahabuddin, also the chancellor of the university, appointed Dr Shahinul on August 1 for the next four years.

Earlier, he served as chairman of Hepatology Department of BSMMU.

Dr Shahinul is a highly educated and talented physician. He has spent 11 years instructing in the hepatology division of various Bangladesh institutes. He completed his Post Graduate Course from IPGMR.
