‘Robbery gang leader’ held in Khulna

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-6) arrested a key accused and an alleged local robbery leader from Rupsha upazila in Khulna district on Saturday.

The arrested is identified as Md Bulu Molla, a resident of Silimpur area under Kalia upazila in Narail district.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB officials conducted a drive in Kazdia area of Purbo Rupsha and arrested him.

RAB-6 confirmed the incident through a press release and said that the arrested have been handed over to Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) Sadar River Police Station for further legal action.

Bulu was accused in six cases across KMP, as well as Narail and Gopalganj districts, including charges of attempted murder, theft, robbery and violation of the Arms Act.
