Justice for Hadi must be ensured: Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has vowed to ensure justice for the killing of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inquilab Mancha, if his party comes to state power. He made the pledge in a post on his verified Facebook page around midnight on Tuesday.
In the post, Mirza Fakhrul recounted an incident at Dhaka airport, where a young man, accompanied by his wife, approached him and appealed: "Sir, if you come to power, will justice for Hadi be ensured?" Mirza Fakhrul said he replied, "Insha Allah."

He described Hadi as a young activist who stood for democracy and was actively involved in election-related campaigning.

 Expressing deep concern, the BNP leader said it was unacceptable that such a young voice was silenced through killing.

Mirza Fakhrul stressed that justice for Hadi must be delivered. He also said that the killings of others, including Mudassir and Samya, must be tried on the soil of Bangladesh. "Every killing must be brought to justice," he added.

The statement has drawn attention in political circles, renewing calls for accountability and justice over recent incidents of violence.
