Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul on Tuesday expressed his country’s eagerness to deepen cooperation with the new Bangladesh government led by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
In a congratulatory message, Anutin highlighted Thailand’s interest in working closely with the Bangladeshi administration to enhance collaboration, particularly in trade, investment and connectivity, for the mutual benefit of both nations and their peoples.
He also extended his congratulations to Tarique Rahman, the BNP chairman, on his party’s victory in 13th parliamentary election and concluded the message with assurances of his highest consideration.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman was sworn in on Tuesday afternoon by President Mohammed Shahabuddin at the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban around 4:15 PM.
