Offices, banks begin with new schedule

All government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions across the country have started operating under a revised schedule from Thursday (February 19), due to the holy month of Ramadan.

According to the new timetable, offices will remain open from 9AM to 3:30PM from Sunday to Thursday. There will be a 15-minute break for Zuhr prayers from 1:15PM to 1:30PM.

As per instructions from the Bangladesh Bank, banking transaction hours during Ramadan will be from 9:30AM to 2:30PM. However, banks will remain open until 4PM to complete official work.

Financial institutions will also operate from 9:30AM to 4PM during this period.
