Pakistan food festival showcases rich culinary heritage in Dhaka

The Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka on Thursday organized a food festival showcasing Pakistan's rich and diverse culinary heritage, attracting a large number of visitors from different walks of life.

Speaking at the event, Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh, H.E. Imran Haider, welcomed distinguished guests, including members of the diplomatic community, academics, media representatives and the general public.

The High Commissioner said the strong turnout at the festival reflected the growing interest in Pakistan's culture and traditions among the people of Bangladesh.

"Pakistan and Bangladesh share deep-rooted cultural bonds," he said, adding that people-to-people contacts play an important role in further strengthening bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

He expressed optimism that similar cultural initiatives would continue in the future, helping to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation between the two nations.

Visitors explored a wide range of traditional Pakistani dishes and expressed appreciation for the High Commission's initiative. Many attendees also showed keen interest in Pakistani fashion and cultural products.

Renowned Pakistani fashion brands participated in the festival, showcasing their latest collections and products.

Members of the diplomatic corps and their families also attended the event.

The day-long festival provided an opportunity for visitors to experience Pakistan's rich cuisine, vibrant culture and dynamic fashion industry in a welcoming and festive environment, according to a press release issued by the Pakistan High Commission.
