The way artificial fuel crisis is being created by talking about wars in the Middle East or global instability, the backs of the middle and lower classes are against the wall. With the slightest change in the price of oil, the prices of everything from rice and pulses to salt and oil skyrocket as if by magic. 

A major disease of the market system in Bangladesh is moral hazard, which has become the main reason for the unnecessary increase in commodity prices. When the addiction to personal profit becomes more prominent among businessmen than public interest, they create instability in the oil market without any logical reason. Despite the normal supply, prices are increased based on speculation, which is clearly a kind of social crime. Due to this immoral attitude, ordinary consumers are constantly being cheated, while there is a lack of effective moral resistance against it.

The oil market is now controlled by a powerful unscrupulous syndicate, whose manipulations are emptying the pockets of the common people. This circle deliberately shows a shortage of products in the market and artificially reduces the supply, so that the products can be sold at high prices. Their network is so well organized that it becomes almost impossible to control the market situation under normal rules. If this 'telesmati' of the syndicate cannot be stopped, it will become difficult to maintain the stability of the country's economy and the common people will only sigh.

Another reason for the anarchy in the market is the mentality of fishing in murky water. Whenever there is a hint of a global crisis, the country's profiteers seize the opportunity to pack their bags. Whether or not there is an immediate impact on the international market when oil prices rise, they increase prices. However, they remain tight-lipped when prices fall. This opportunistic mentality is pushing the country's overall market system towards extreme instability, where there is no sense of responsibility.

The weak market monitoring system is also largely responsible for this oil scandal. Due to the lack of regular supervision and strict supervision agencies, traders are not heeding the law. Whenever a raid is carried out, prices temporarily decrease, but the situation returns to the same as before. Due to the laxity of the administration and the lack of proper data analysis, unscrupulous groups are easily getting away with it. As a result, the market is now running at the whim of profiteers rather than protecting the interests of the people.

Creating an artificial crisis of oil in the market has now become a kind of industry. Artificial cries are created in the market by storing thousands of tons of fuel or edible oil in large warehouses. When the common people panic and start buying products at high prices, that stock is released at high prices. Although they become millionaires overnight through this type of fraudulent business, millions of people are becoming destitute. Unless action is taken by identifying those who create artificial crises, market instability will never go away.

A steel-hard decision is now needed to stop this extreme violence of the profiteers. Today, it has been forgotten that the meaning of business is not only to make pockets heavy, but also to be socially responsible. In the hope of making huge profits, they are creating instability in the market by hiding oil reserves. This profiteer group is like a cancer for the country's economy. It is necessary to boycott them socially and bring them under the law, otherwise the money of the common people's hard work will only fill their coffers.

It is an old trick of traders to create panic by creating artificial complications in the supply of products. They spread rumors that the supply of oil in the market is insufficient, as a result of which people start hoarding more than necessary. By creating this frightening situation, they fill their pockets with extra money. The joke they are playing by exploiting this psychology of panic is, in a word, cruelty. The patriotism of those who capitalize on the simple faith of the common people and spread such fear is questionable.

If these market terrorists cannot be suppressed with a strong hand now, the prices of other daily necessities will also go out of control due to its impact. The government must ensure strict supervision, adequate supply and exemplary punishment against hoarders. Conscious common people must also speak out against injustice, so that this instability in the market can be eliminated forever and the common people can breathe a sigh of relief.
