US soldiers will fall victim to Netanyahu’s delusions: Iran’s parliament speaker

Iran’s parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, says  Tehran is “closely monitoring all US movements in the region, especially troop deployments”, reports Al Jazeera.

“What the generals have broke, the soldiers can’t fix; instead, they will fall victim to Netanyahu’s delusions,” Ghalibaf said in a post on X. “Do not test our resolve to defend our land.”

Earlier, The Associated Press reported that more than 1,000 soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division are being deployed to the Middle East, in addition to the deployment of two Marine units that will add about 5,000 Marines and thousands of sailors to the region.
