DSCC felicitates FFs on Independence Day

In a heartfelt tribute to the nation's bravest sons, Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) organised a reception for valiant freedom fighters to mark Independence Day and National Day on 26 March.

The programme, held at 11:30 am on Saturday at the Nagar Bhaban premises, was imbued with respect, gratitude, and patriotism.

 Elderly freedom fighters, many bearing the marks of time yet carrying unwavering pride, gathered to commemorate the spirit of 1971. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the rendition of the national anthem, setting a solemn and respectful tone. The moment symbolised a return to the glorious chapter of history when these brave individuals fought for the country's independence.
