Delegations from the US and Iran will arrive in Pakistan for talks on Friday, Pakistan’s PM Shehbaz Sharif says.

There are, however, conflicting reports over who will attend the meeting.

Reuters news agency, citing two unnamed Pakistani sources, reported that US Vice President JD Vance would lead the United States delegation and meet with Iran’s parliamentary speaker and Iran’s FM in Islamabad.

However, US President Trump was quoted as saying by US media that in-person talks with Iran will happen “very soon”, but that Vance might not attend due to security concerns.
