Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon on Wednesday stressed the need for expanding the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) programme across the country through coordinated efforts.

The perceived erosion of values in both family and religious spheres must be tackled through comprehensive and well-aligned policy measures, he noted.

The country's "degradation of values" in both family and religious spheres needs to be addressed through coordinated policy measures, the minister made the remarks while speaking to reporters after a meeting with the Prime Minister at his Secretariat office.

He said that discussions were underway on strengthening moral and social values through political and institutional interventions.
