AG asks DAGs, AAGs not to go other benches

Attorney General (AG) Barrister Md Ruhul Quddus Kajal on Thursday asked the Deputy Attorney General (DAG) and Assistant Attorney General (AAG), who are serving as state lawyers in the High Court (HC) division, not to go to other benches outside their duties and influence any case.

In a notification issued on Thursday signed by Md Nasir Uddin, Administrative Officer of the AG's Office, stated that 'it has come to the attention of the Attorney General that some DAGs  and AAGs, who are on duty in various courts, leave their respective courts and appear in other courts during the court proceedings and try to influence other cases.'

The notification mentioned that all concerned have been requested not to go to any court other than their respective courts during the court proceedings.
