Jet fuel prices fall

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has reduced the price of jet fuel after increasing it earlier at May.

According to a BERC notification issued on Saturday, the price of jet fuel for domestic flights has been cut by Tk 39.57 per litre, bringing the new rate down to Tk 165.88 per litre.

The commission also reduced the price of jet fuel for international flights by $0.256 per litre, fixing the new rate at $1.0823 per litre.

Earlier on May 7, BERC had raised the jet fuel price to Tk 205.45 per litre for domestic flights and $1.3385 per litre for international flights.
