Six found dead in five districts

Six persons were found dead in Dinajpur, Feni, Laxmipur, Noakhali and Mymensingh districts in two days.
BIROL, DINAJPUR: The police recovered the body of an unidentified elderly man, 55, from a litchi garden on the banks of the Tulai River in Birol Upazila of the district on Saturday afternoon. Locals said that the man had been roaming around in the litchi garden for a few days.

At the time of writing the report, the body was recovered and brought to the police station and sent to the Dinajpur Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy. The deceased, who has a beard and fair complexion, was wearing a lungi and a T-shirt.

FENI: The body of a young man was recovered from a place called Bari Darwaza in Momarijpur Village of Matubhuyan Union in Daganbhuyan Upazila of the district on Saturday morning. 

Police believe he died on the spot after hitting a bamboo tied to the road. However, it is not known who tied the bamboo.
Deceased Hedayetul Islam Iqbal, 24, was the son of Abdul Munaf of Momarijpur Village.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Daganbhuyan Police Station (PS) Muhammad Faizul Azim Noman said that he died on the spot in a motorcycle accident. The body has been recovered and sent to the Feni 250-bed General Hospital morgue for an autopsy. The real cause of death will be known in the investigation report. 

KAMALNAGAR, LAXMIPUR: The police recovered the floating body of a young man from a pond adjacent to Torabganj Bazar in Kamalnagar Upazila of the district on Thursday afternoon. 

The deceased Arif Hossain, 35, was the son of Mawlana Akhtar Hossain of the area.

It is known that Arif used to leave his house every morning and have breakfast at a hotel in the local Torabganj Bazar. On Thursday morning, he had breakfast at the hotel. Then, around 9 am, local people saw his floating body in the pond. Later, on information, the police recovered the body.

NOAKHALI: Police recovered the body of a young man from a canal in Khanpur Village of Sharifpur Union in Begumganj Upazila of the district on Thursday noon, about 14 hours after he went missing.

The deceased Saddam Hossain, 25, was the son of Hoque Sab of Hasanpur Village in Ward No. 4 of the union.

GOURIPUR, MYMENSINGH: A diving team of the Fire Service recovered the body of a third-year student of Mymensingh Polytechnic Institute named Md Mokramin Hasan Rafi, 25, from the Boyra Ghat area of the Brahmaputra River adjacent to Boyra Bazar in Gouripur Upazila of the district on Thursday morning, a day after he went missing while bathing in the river with friends around 3 pm on Wednesday.

The deceased Rafi was the son of Abul Hossain of Boyra area of the upazila.

BHALUKA, MYMENSINGH: Police have recovered the body of an unidentified woman, 40, from Kachina Union in Bhaluka Upazila of the district on Thursday morning.

Locals saw the body lying under a bamboo bush on the eastern side of Tamat Bazar in the upazila and informed the police. Later, the police recovered the body and took it to the police station.

Bhaluka Model PS OC Zahidul Islam and Sub-Inspector Nurul Haque said that efforts are being made to identify the deceased. Legal proceedings are underway in this incident.
