Patuakhali BNP holds discussion on Ziaur Rahman

PATUAKHALI, June 13: A discussion meeting and Doa event were held on Saturday morning at the District Shilpakala Academy auditorium to mark the 45th martyrdom anniversary of the party’s founder, martyred president Ziaur Rahman, Bir Uttom. 

The discussion meeting was chaired by the President of Patuakhali District BNP and District Council Administrator Snehangshu Sarkar Kutti and conducted by District BNP leader Mizanur Rahman. 

Present as speakers were Dean of the Oceanography Faculty of Patuakhali Science and Technology University Professor Dr A B M Saiful Islam, Principal of Patuakhali Government College Professor Mohammad Jasim Uddin, District BNP General Secretary Advocate Mozibur Rahman Toton, former principal of Government Women’s College Professor Mohammad Moddasser Billah, Head of the Political Science Department of Patuakhali Government College Professor Mohammad Jalal Uddin, and former municipality mayor Moshtaq Ahmed.

Earlier, the ‘Zia Memorial Book Fair-2026’ was jointly inaugurated on the premises of the District Shilpakala Academy by ‘Zia Memorial Library and Patuakhali District BNP’.
