The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, on Saturday, June 13, 2026, said that the  finalization of a deal between the US and Iran was “likely expected in the next 24 hours.”

He said this in a social media post.

Shehbaz said “technical level talks” would begin next week if the deal is signed this weekend.

Iran’s foreign ministry, however, later said the deal would likely not be signed Sunday, reports CBS News.
