The Dhaka University Metro Rail Station will remain closed for passenger boarding and alighting for three hours on Wednesday in observance of the 105th founding anniversary of the University of Dhaka.

In a statement issued by the Public Relations Division of the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), the authority said metro trains will not stop at the station from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the request of the university authorities.

During the period, metro rail services will continue operating on schedule, but trains will pass through Dhaka University Station without stopping.

DMTCL expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to passengers and requested their cooperation.
