Speaker Hafiz Uddin departs Dhaka to join Khameni’s funeral

Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad left Dhaka on Thursday morning to join the state funeral of late Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Tehran.

He departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at about 7:30AM for Iran.

The Speaker is scheduled to return to Bangladesh on July 4 after attending the funeral.
