To promote the use of Bangla QR and raise public awareness, Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance and Planning Affairs, made purchases using Bangla QR through Dutch-Bangla Bank's (DBBL) app at Indira Road in the capital on Saturday.
Instant cashless transactions can be made using Bangla QR through Dutch-Bangla Bank's apps, NexusPay and Rocket.
Md Ahteshamul Haque Khan, Managing Director and CEO of Dutch-Bangla Bank and Arif Hossain Khan Spokesperson and Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank along with officials of both organizations were present on the occasion.
In line with the government's vision of building a 'Cashless Bangladesh', Dutch-Bangla Bank, under the direction of its Board of Directors, has been continuously conducting various awareness and promotional activities across the country to encourage the use of Bangla QR among customers and merchants.
