SONARGAON, NARAYANGANJ: Al Bahar, mother of General Secretary of Sonargaon Municipality BNP Md Motaleb Hossain, died on Tuesday morning while undergoing treatment at a private hospital. She was 95.
At the time of her death, she left behind 6 sons, 3 daughters, grandchildren, relatives and many well-wishers. Her Namaz-e-Janaza was held at the Tipordi Mainka Vita Eidgah ground of Sonargaon Municipality and then she was buried at the Tipordi Community Graveyard.
Narayanganj-3 Constituency MP and Sonargaon Upazila BNP President Azharul Islam Mannan, GS Mosharraf Hossain and Municipality BNP President Md Shahjahan Mia expressed deep shock and prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased.

Mariam Begum, mother of Md Selim Bhuiyan, Senior Vice-President of Noagaon Union BNP in Sonargaon Upazila, died on Tuesday morning while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. She was 75.
She left behind 7 sons, 1 daughter, grandchildren, and many relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
Her Namaz-e-Janaza was held on the Hujurbari Gobindapur Madrasa ground in Ladurchar of Noagaon Union after Asr prayers on Tuesday, and she was buried at the Ladurchar Social Graveyard.
Sonargaon Upazila BNP President Azharul Islam Mannan, MP, and GS Mosharraf Hossain expressed deep shock at her death.
FF Siraj UddinNETRAKONA: Retired manager of Janata Bank's Joynagar branch in Netrakona and Freedom Fighter (FF) Siraj Uddin passed away at his house on Shibganj Road of the town on Sunday morning. He was 79.
He is survived by his wife, one son and two daughters. Siraj Uddin was the joint secretary of Netrakona Shilpakala Academy, Vice-President of the cultural organisation Janantik Natya Goshti, and a footballer of Netrakona's Datta High School and Netrakona College.
He was buried with state honour at the Rishipara graveyard in the town after the Namaz-e-Janaza on the Chandranath High School ground on Sunday afternoon. The Netrakona Muktijoddha Sangsad, District Press Club, Shilkala Academy and District Sports Organisation expressed deep grief over his death.
