Gas pressure may remain low for customers in areas under Titas Gas after rough weather reduced the supply of regasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) from the LNG terminals at Maheshkhali by around 300 million cubic feet per day (MMCFD).

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Titas Gas said adverse weather had significantly reduced RLNG supply from the Maheshkhali LNG terminals, putting pressure on the national gas transmission system.

The company said the disruption could affect residential, commercial and industrial customers in its franchise areas until the situation improves. It also apologised for the temporary inconvenience caused to consumers.
