PM to visit DU today to attend startup event 

 
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is expected to visit Dhaka University (DU) on Tuesday for a special event focused on youth entrepreneurship and startup development, organised jointly by the university and the government's Information and Communication Technology Division.

Event, titled ‘Youth, Startup and the Bangladesh of Possibilities’, is scheduled to begin at 9:30am at Nobab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban. Posts, Telecommunications and IT Minister Fakir Mahbub Anam and Prime Minister's ICT Adviser Rehan Asif Asad will attend as special guests. DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr A B M Obaidul Islam will deliver the closing remarks.

Programme includes a documentary on Bangladesh's startup ecosystem, an open discussion between PM and students, and the handover of grant cheques to selected startups.
