Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has directed the authorities to install automatic traffic light systems at at least 50 more key intersections across Dhaka as part of efforts to ease traffic congestion and modernize the capital's traffic management.
The directive came during a high-level meeting on environmental pollution and urban civic services held at the Prime Minister's Office on Saturday. The meeting was chaired by the prime minister.
