Bangladesh march into Women's Junior AHF Cup Final

 
Bangladesh stormed into the final of the Women's Junior AHF Cup in Muscat, Oman, after completing the round-robin stage with a flawless record, winning all four of their matches to book a title showdown with Kazakhstan on Saturday.

The young Tigresses opened their campaign in emphatic fashion with a 6-0 demolition of Hong Kong, China before edging past Uzbekistan 1-0 in a closely contested encounter. They then produced their most commanding display of the tournament, routing Pakistan 8-0 as Ima stole the limelight with a hat-trick to earn the Player of the Match award. Bangladesh Hockey Federation President was present to hand over the accolade after the match.

Bangladesh wrapped up the league phase with a hard-earned 2-1 victory over Kazakhstan on Friday, maintaining their unbeaten run and finishing top of the standings. Tanni Khatun was named Player of the Match for her influential performance in the crucial contest. 

Individual brilliance has complemented Bangladesh's collective strength throughout the tournament. Airin Akter Riya was adjudged Player of the Match in the opening victory over Hong Kong, China, while Riyasa claimed the honour after the win against Uzbekistan, underlining the squad's depth and consistency.
