SSC results not being released on Jul 20

The results of this year's SSC and equivalent examinations are not being published on July 20. 

The new date for publishing the results has not been finalized yet. 

However, the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has said that efforts are being made to publish the results within this month.

Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, chairman of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Dhaka, confirmed the matter on Saturday (July 18) afternoon.

He said that Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr. ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon had set the target of publishing the results on July 20. Accordingly, the education boards had also made necessary preparations. However, due to recent administrative busyness, the work of preparing the results could not be completed on time. As a result, the publication of the results is being delayed by a few days.

In response to a question about whether it would be possible to publish the results within this month, the board chairman said, "InshaAllah, I hope to be able to publish the results within this month."

Earlier, in a press conference on June 15, Minister of Education and Primary and Mass Education Dr. ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon had said that the results of SSC and equivalent examinations will be published by July 20. At the same time, he said that the target is to publish the results of this year's HSC examination within two months of the end of the examination.

According to board sources, 18 lakh 57 thousand 344 students registered to take part in the SSC and equivalent examinations under 11 education boards of the country this year. Of these, 9 lakh 30 thousand 305 are boys and 9 lakh 27 thousand 39 are girls. 208 candidates have been expelled on charges of cheating during the examination.
