Mobile book fair begins in Rajbari

RAJBARI, July 23: A week-long mobile book fair organised by the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro (BSK) has been inaugurated on the Rajbari Government High School premises on Thursday afternoon. 

Rajbari Deputy Commissioner (DC) Afroza Parveen was present as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony. Among others, Additional DC (Education) Shankar Chandra Baidya, Assistant Commissioner of District Administration Dr Md Ashikuzzaman, Head Teacher of Zila School Md Manzrul Haque and BSK Organiser Md Nurul Alam Khan were present.

Drawing, recitation competitions and prize distribution are being held at the fair from July 23 to 27. According to the BSK sources, books suitable for children will be sold directly from the fair at 25-30 per cent discount.
