Prime Bank holds 'Empowering Youth–Season 2.0' at UIU

Prime Bank PLC has successfully held another session of its flagship “Empowering Youth�"Season 2.0” initiative at United International University (UIU), bringing together industry leaders and aspiring graduates to bridge the gap between academia and the corporate world.

Rup Ratan Pine, Executive Director (Grade-I) of Bangladesh Bank, attended the session as Chief Guest. Addressing the students, he underscored the importance of academic results as well as extracurricular involvement in securing strong career opportunities in both government and private sectors, including prospects at Bangladesh Bank, says a press release.

The program was chaired by Prof Dr Md Abul Kashem Mia, Vice Chancellor of United International University, while Prof Dr Salma Karim, Director of the BBA Program at UIU, delivered the welcome address.

Nazeem A Choudhury, Additional Managing Director and Head of Consumer and SME Banking Division at Prime Bank PLC, delivered the keynote speech on employability and the essential skill sets needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market. Drawing from his own career journey, he shared candid reflections on the challenges he faced and the critical decisions that shaped his path �" offering students a rare, real-world perspective on how resilience and sound judgment can turn obstacles into stepping stones toward leadership.

The session concluded with an interactive Q and A, giving students the opportunity to engage directly with industry experts on career development and the banking profession.
