BCB President Tamim suddenly heading to India

Tamim Iqbal, BCB head is scheduled to depart for India on Thursday afternoon with an objective to inspect BCCI’s modern Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.

A Bangladesh Cricket Board meeting was held on Wednesday under the leadership of BCB president Tamim Iqbal. In that meeting, discussions took place regarding Purbachal Stadium.

Approval was granted to construct a Cricket Excellence Centre in Purbachal, for this reason, Tamim is leaving for India.

He will be accompanied by BCB Grounds and HP Chairman Shahnian Tanim.

The BCB plans to build a world-class Cricket Excellence Centre in Purbachal. For this project, Tamim will closely observe India's modern infrastructure, training facilities, gym, sports science, and biomechanics setups.

However, details remain unknown regarding whether discussions will take place with BCCI officials concerning a potential Bangladesh-India series during this trip.
