NSTU launches tree planting

NOAKHALI, July 31: Organised by the Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) Companyganj Students’ Association, a tree planting and sapling distribution programme-2026 was inaugurated by the NSTU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Golam Rabbani on Wednesday as the chief guest. 

During the inauguration, the VC mentioned the importance of greening the campus and encouraged the students to plant more trees. At that time, the VC planted a Rangan sapling near the university signage.

At that time, NSTU Treasurer Prof Dr Md Hasan Uddin, Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof Dr Abidur Rahman, Assistant Professor of BGE Department Dr N Iskandar Shahzada, Assistant Director (Information and Public Relations) of Public Relations and Publication Department Iftekhar Hossain, along with teachers, students, officials, employees and journalists were present.
