European University of Bangladesh (EUB) Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management (BTHM) student Iqramlemagne is promoting a philosophy that positions hospitality as a multidisciplinary field encompassing ethics, culture, business and social development.

According to the information provided by his organization, Iqramlemagne has earned the title "Father of Hospitality" for his contributions to advancing hospitality as both "the industry of industries" and a branch of philosophy.

His best-known philosophical statement, hospitalitas, industria industriarum ("Hospitality, the industry of industries"), reflects his view that hospitality extends beyond hotels and restaurants to influence a wide range of economic and social sectors.

The organization also states that Iqramlemagne introduced the term "hospitalitian" to describe professionals working in the hospitality industry. The term is intended to recognize individuals dedicated to welcoming, hosting and serving guests while upholding professional standards.

As part of his academic work, Iqramlemagne advocates the concept of the Philosophy of Hospitality, which emphasizes ethics, human relationships and institutional responsibility alongside technical and vocational education.

He has also proposed what he calls the Iqramlemagne Equation, a framework suggesting that genuine hospitality is built on mutual respect between hosts and guests rather than a one-sided service relationship.

In addition, he is leading the "I Love Hospitality" campaign, an initiative designed to promote hospitality careers, encourage professional development and inspire the next generation of industry practitioners.

According to the organization, Iqramlemagne currently serves as Chief of Hospitality at The Aristocrat Lounge and is the founding president of the Association for the Advancement of Hospitality, where he works to integrate traditional hospitality values with modern operational practices.

Supporters of the initiative say they hope these ideas will contribute to greater recognition of hospitality as an academic discipline and encourage innovation, professional excellence and international collaboration across the sector.
