Meritorious students felicitated in Laxmipur

LAXMIPUR, Aug 8: Care Education School and College gave a reception to 97 scholarship-recipient and meritorious students at the town hall auditorium on Saturday morning.

Besides, prizes were distributed among 190 students in 21 events in the annual sports and cultural competition of the institution.

Principal of Care Education School and College Md Asaduzzaman chaired the event and its Chairman and Chandpur District Education Officer Mohammad Ruhullah was present as the chief guest.

District branch President of Bangladesh Human Rights Commission Shamsul Karim Khokon, journalist Salim Uddin Nizami, Director of the organisation Fakhrul Islam Swapan, Arif Hossain Chowdhury, Mokhleshur Rahman Chowdhury, Humayun Kabir Chowdhury, Md Bahar Uddin, Abul Kalam Azad and others were present as special guests. Later, interesting cultural performances were held with the participation of students.
