Students to get free weekly access to July museum

As part of the initiative, students will be allowed to visit the July Uprising Museum free of charge once a week.

While responding to questions at a press conference on Tuesday, Prime Minister’s Information and Broadcasting Adviser Dr Zahed Ur Rahman informed this to media.

He said a policy decision has been taken to designate one day at the July Uprising Museum exclusively for students. Students from higher grades of schools will be eligible for the facility. 

Asked whether students would need to pay an entrance fee, the adviser replied, ''Yes, the ticket is free. It’s free of cost.”

Dr Zahed said the initiative would not be limited to students of government schools. Students from all schools will gradually be brought under the scheme.
