Prime Bank PLC, CWU sign MoU to advance modern banking services

Prime Bank PLC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Central Women’s University (CWU) to make banking services more seamless, modern and technology-driven. The agreement was signed under the bank’s education-focused initiative, “PrimeAcademia.”

Under the partnership, a range of banking services will be extended to students, faculty members, administrative staff, guardians and the institution itself. These include automated tuition fee collection, institutional business accounts, payroll management, special savings accounts, need-based loan facilities, priority credit card services, as well as various non-banking and skill-development opportunities, according to a press release.

At the signing ceremony held recently, Shaila Abedin, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the Liability and Women Banking Division of Prime Bank, and Dr Perween Hasan, Vice Chancellor of Central Women’s University, were present.

They exchanged the signed MoU on the occasion. The agreement was formally signed by M M Mahbub Hasan, Senior Vice President and Head of the Financial Inclusion and School Banking Division of Prime Bank, and Dr Perween Hasan, on behalf of their respective institutions. Elias Ahmed, Registrar of the university, along with senior officials from both organisations, was also present.
