A dedicate special bus service for women passengers, ‘Pink Bus', sets to launch in the capital on Tuesday.

The service will be formally inaugurated at 10AM at the BRTC Dhaka Truck Depot in Tejgaon. Both the drivers and conductors of the new buses will be women.

The service aims to ensure safer and more comfortable travel for women while also creating more employment opportunities for women in the transport sector.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Sheikh Robiul Alam will attend the inauguration as the chief guest.

The pink bus rollout marks BRTC's first concrete step toward realizing the government's promise of safer, more accessible public transport for women across the capital.
