Jubo Dal leader stabbed inside car in Ishwardi

Convener of the Ishwardi upazila Jubo Dal, Shariful Islam Sharif, was attacked inside car on Wednesday night by unidentified assailants, equipped with sharp weapons.
The incident happened in front of Joynagar Kindergarten around 11:45PM. As reported by locals and police, attackers opened fire on his car, which stopped the vehicle, and then attacked Sharif, who was suffered several stab injuries.
Locals initially took him to the Ishwardi Upazila Health Complex. However, as condition deteriorated, the doctors referred him to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
Police from Ishwaridi said they are trying to arrest the attackers.
