Dear Sir,
Drug addiction is a serious problem in our country, gradually destroying individuals, families and society. The growing number of young people falling victim to drugs poses a serious threat to the country’s future. Strong and immediate action is needed to address this crisis.
First, the easy availability of drugs must be stopped. Government agencies should take effective action against smugglers and sellers, while border security must be strengthened to disrupt the supply chain. Law enforcement should target the masterminds behind drug networks rather than focusing only on small sellers.
Families and educational institutions also have an important role. Students should be educated about the dangers of drugs and encouraged to participate in sports, arts and other healthy activities. Those struggling with addiction need medical treatment, rehabilitation and social support rather than punishment alone.
Police, families, teachers, media and citizens must work together to build a drug-free society.
