Dr Milon’s 69th birth anniv today

The 69th birth anniversary of Shaheed Dr Shamsul Alam Khan Milon - a prominent physician and leading figure in Bangladesh’s anti-autocracy movement - is being observed today with due solemnity.

Different socio-political, cultural and professional organisations including Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) have arranged various programmes to commemorate his legacy. 

Leaders, physicians, political activists and admirers will place wreaths at his grave on Dhaka Medical College campus and at Milon Smrity Chattar near Dhaka University’s TSC.
