Midland bank to offer E-loans for mobile device purchases

Midland Bank PLC (MDB) and ShohozMobile BD limited have recently signed an agreement under which customers will be able to use Midland Bank’s e-loan facility to purchase mobile devices from designated ShohozMobile merchant points. Midland Bank disclosed the information in a press release.

Mohammad Rashadul Anwar, Head of Public Relations and Coordinator of the Retail Distribution Division at Midland Bank, and Abu Al Motalib, Director of ShohozMobile BD, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Midland Bank Managing Director (MD) Imtiaz Uddin Ahmed; Khandaker Imran Hossain, Manager of the Project, Process, Product Development and Retail Distribution Division; and ShohozMobile BD Senior Manager Rajib Kundu and Head of Accounts Md Rakibul Hasan, among other officials from both organizations, were present at the signing ceremony.

According to the press release, the agreement between Midland Bank and ShohozMobile BD will make digital financing more accessible to customers and provide greater convenience when purchasing mobile devices.

The partnership will also combine Midland Bank’s digital lending services with ShohozMobile’s merchant network, helping expand the use of digital financial services.
