Sitakunda man killed in Kuwait crash

A road accident in Kuwait has claimed the life of the expatriate Md Kamal Uddin, better known by the name Saddam from the Sitakunda area of Chattogram on Monday (August 24).

The place of his birth is South Salimpur, Salimpur Union.

According to reports from his family members, Kamal was coming back home after finishing his office work, and then he was crossing the road and standing before the garage situated in Suweag when he was hit by a fast-moving vehicle from the rear side and was badly injured.

He was shifted to the hospital by the police where he was declared dead.

Kamal has been working in Kuwait for several years and had come back to his office just two months back after taking leave for vacations in his home country. He has tied his nuptials two years ago.

Both the old mother of Kamal and his wife are in shock after the tragic demise of their son/husband. He leaves behind his mother, wife and other relatives.

His elder brother Gulzar Hossain said that all the arrangements are being done to arrange his funeral here in Kuwait.
