Bangladesh national football team star Hamza Chowdhury has been appointed brand ambassador of global innovative technology brand TECNO Bangladesh.

The partnership aims to bring football and technology closer to young people and expand TECNO’s connection with Bangladesh’s growing football community.

TECNO announced the partnership in a press release on Thursday (August 27). The collaboration closely aligns with the brand’s “Stop At Nothing” slogan, which promotes the spirit of overcoming obstacles and constantly moving forward.

With years of experience in professional football and his decision to represent Bangladesh, Hamza has become one of the country’s most talked-about and popular footballers. His determination, performances and fighting spirit have particularly resonated with young fans.

The partnership comes at an important time for Bangladeshi football, with TECNO serving as the title sponsor of the “TECNO SAFF Championship Bangladesh 2026.” The company said bringing Hamza on board as its brand ambassador will further strengthen its engagement with football and the country’s younger generation.

Rezwanul Haque, CEO of iSmart U Technology BD Limited, representing TECNO Bangladesh, said Hamza’s ambition, determination and drive to keep moving forward closely reflect the brand’s “Stop At Nothing” philosophy.

“Hamza is now part of the TECNO family. The TECNO SAFF Championship Bangladesh 2026 is also ahead of us. By bringing the two together, we want to bring technology and football closer and create new and exciting experiences for football fans across the country,” he said.

As part of the partnership, Hamza will appear in various TECNO brand and product campaigns. He will also be involved in the upcoming CAMON series, football-focused digital content, fan activations and consumer campaigns.

At the same time, TECNO is working on AI-powered smartphone technology and advanced imaging capabilities. Through its collaboration with Hamza, the brand plans to focus on capturing different moments of football through smartphones and creating new digital experiences for fans.

Speaking about the partnership, Hamza Chowdhury said Bangladesh is very special to him and that the love and support he has received from the people of the country have been extraordinary.

“I am very happy to join TECNO Bangladesh as its brand ambassador. I can relate to the belief of always moving forward and pushing beyond one’s limits. I look forward to creating something great together for the fans,” Hamza said.

TECNO plans to launch a series of campaigns, football-focused content and fan activations featuring Hamza in the coming months. Through on-field activities, digital platforms and various events, TECNO and Hamza aim to strengthen their connection with football fans across Bangladesh.
