3 more die with measles symptoms, over 1,000 new cases reported

Three children died with measles-like symptoms across the country in the past 24 hours, while another 1,044 people were newly reported with measles or related symptoms, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Two of the deaths were reported in Dhaka Division, while another occurred in Sylhet Division.

With the latest fatalities, the total number of deaths linked to measles and measles-like symptoms has reached 986 since March 15. Of them, 887 died with measles symptoms, while 99 died after being diagnosed with measles.
