Bus services of Rajshahi to other routes halted

Long-distance bus services from Rajshahi to all destinations, including Dhaka, came to a sudden halt on Saturday morning following an internal dispute among transport workers, causing intense misery to commuters.
The trouble started on Friday over an altercation between Rajshahi and Natore bus workers regarding passenger handling.

Tensions escalated when Rajshahi workers stopped a Natore-bound bus. In response, Natore transport leaders barred Rajshahi-bound buses from crossing their territory, prompting Rajshahi operators to suspend all outbound routes starting from 9AM.
With no long-distance buses departing the city, stranded passengers were forced to rely on expensive alternative transport or wait endlessly at terminals for services to restore.
