Badda furniture warehouse fire brought under control

The fire that broke out at a furniture warehouse in Dhaka's Badda at around 8:45AM on Sunday, is now under control.

The Fire Service said two of its units rushed to the scene after receiving the report and started working to douse the the blaze under control. Later, two more units were also dispatched to the scene.

However, before the additional two units could arrive, the fire was brought under control at 9:58AM, the Fire Service added.

The cause of the blaze and the extent of the damage could not be immediately determined.
