As part of Prime Minister’s five-year initiative to plant 250 million trees, Gazipur Agricultural University organised the ‘Tree Plantation Programme 2026’ across its six residential halls on Sunday. The programme began at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Hall under the leadership of GAU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr GKM Mostafizur Rahman, followed by tree planting on the premises of Ila Mitra Hall, Begum Rokeya Hall, Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Hall and New Male Hall.PHOTO: OBSERVER
