Measles claims 3 more lives

Three more people died with measles-like symptoms across the country in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of confirmed measles deaths this year to 100 and deaths with measles-like symptoms to 894. The combined death toll from measles and its symptoms now stands at 994.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed the figures in its regular health bulletin on Sunday. 

It said one person each died in Chattogram, Khulna and Sylhet divisions with measles-like symptoms between 8am Saturday and 8am Sunday.
