PM’s Feni visit deferred to Oct 1

 
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s scheduled visit to Feni on September 17 has been postponed and rescheduled for October 1, Feni, Deputy Commissioner Md Mahbubul Karim confirmed on Sunday afternoon.

He said the September 17 visit was postponed due to the Prime Minister’s engagement in important state programmes. The Prime Minister will visit Feni on the new date.

Despite the postponement, preparations by the local administration and the BNP in Parshuram and Fulgazi upazilas are continuing. Work is progressing rapidly on the inauguration plaque and the public meeting venue on the bank of the Muhuri River along the Parshuram-Subar Bazar road.
