Multiple cocktail explosions reported outside Jatrabari Police Station

Multiple explosions were reported outside Jatrabari Police Station in the capital on Friday evening, with police yet to confirm who was responsible.

Several loud blasts were heard in front of the station’s main gate at around 7:40 PM.

Jatrabari Police Station duty officer Sub-Inspector Md Hasanur confirmed the incident, saying the blasts were initially believed to have been caused by cocktails.

“Several explosions were heard in front of the station’s main gate at around 7:40 PM. It is initially believed that cocktails may have exploded. We cannot provide details at this moment. Senior police officers are at the scene and are investigating what actually happened,” he said.
