Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions on Monday, while mostly dry weather is expected elsewhere, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
In its 24-hour forecast issued on Thursday (November 5), the Met Office said the low-pressure area over coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining areas had weakened, while its trough extended into the North Bay of Bengal.
The weather is likely to remain mainly dry across the country over the next few days, with temporary partly cloudy skies. Day and night temperatures may fall slightly initially before remaining nearly unchanged.
On Sunday, rain or thundershowers may occur at one or two places in Chattogram division. The possibility of rainfall is expected to extend to Khulna and Barishal divisions on Monday.
The Met Office also forecast a slight rise in night temperatures and a slight fall in daytime temperatures on Monday.
