Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has warned that any attempt to destabilise the country’s industries and economy through sabotage will not be tolerated.
Speaking at a roadside rally at Dakbangla intersection in Khulna on Thursday (November 5), he said factories are national assets and vital to the livelihoods of millions of workers.
He accused those who previously undermined democracy and voting rights of plotting to disrupt the industrial sector, warning that any conspiracy against the country would be resisted.
Tarique also urged citizens to remain vigilant against attempts to create disorder in industrial areas. He made the remarks while visiting Khulna to inaugurate the second season of the New Buds Sports programme.
